2-2'-Dithiobis(benzothiazole)
  • Appearance: Creamish to Greyish powder
  • Melting Point: 172 - 180⁰C
  • Ash Content - 0.5 % max.
# Semi-ultra fast accelerator in sulphur vulcanization system for diene rubbers. # Good retarder for Chloroprene rubber. # Non-discoloring & nonstaining. Similar to Pentocure - MBT (Benefis of MBTS : Scorch safety is better than MBT)
Pentocure - ZMBT

Zinc-2-mercaptobenzothiazole
  • Appearance: Light yellow to yellow
  • Melting Point: 320⁰C min.
  • Ash Content: 19 - 21% max.
# Semi-ultra fast accelerator in sulphur vulcanization system for diene rubbbers. # Non-discoloring & nonstaining. # Scorch safety is much highed& hence can be used in place of MBT for scorch control. # It is mainly used in latex compounding along with Pentocure ZDEC/ZDBC to improve the state of cure.
  1. NR/Synthtetic Rubber Latex based products such as latex foam, Coir foam, Carpet backing, latex thread etc.

Pentocure – F

Blend of MBTS & basic accelerators
  • Appearance: Light creamish to creamish
  • Melting Point: 140⁰C min.
  • Ash Content: 0.5% max.
# Semi-ultra fast accelerator in sulphur vulcanization system for diene rubbbers. # Non-discoloring & nonstaining. # Scorch safety than MBT & slightly faster cure rate & higher state of cure as compared to MBT & MBTS # Recommended for white/colored products as compared to MBT, MBTS & ZMBT.

N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide

  • Melting Point: 98-104⁰C min.

# Fast - delayed action accelerator in sulphur vulcanization system for diene rubber. # Non staining. At higher dosages, slight discoloration. # CBS shows faster cure rate, higher state of cure & moderate plateau effect as compared to Thiazole class. # Higher stress-strain properties along with better resilience and flex - fatigue resistance as compared to Thiazole class.

# Fast - delayed action accelerator in sulphur vulcanization system for diene rubber. # Non staining. At higher dosages, slight discoloration. # MOR offers longer scorch safety as compared to CBS & TBBS. # MOR based compound shows excellent shelf life with retention of cure activity as compared to CBS & TBBS.

# Ultra fast accelerator. (Non-discoloring & nonstaining) # ZBEC used as primary as well as secondary accelerator in latex & dry rubber based compounds. # Required dosage of ZBEC is higher than ZDEC & ZDBC to achieve equivalent state of cure.

Pentocure – ZDEC

Zinc diethyl-dithiocarbamate.
  • Appearance: Off white to white powder.
  • Melting Point: 175⁰C min.
  • Ash Content: 21- 23% max.
# Ultra fast accelerator for latex based compounds. # Secondary accelerators for dry rubber based sulphur cured compounds. # ZDEC shows scorching tendency, faster cure rate, higher cross link density but poor reversion resistance. # Very active booster accelerator even at very small dosages. # Non-staining & no-discoloring even on exposure to light. 1) Latex Based Products: Latex foam. Coir foam, Latex Threads, Latex tubings, Surgical Gloves, Prophylactics, Carpet backings, Latex adhesives, etc. 2) Dry Rubber Based Products:White/Colored rubber products, Footwear, Seals, Hoses, Sponges, Rubber Sheeting
Pentocure – ZDBC

Zinc dibutyl-dithiocarbamate.
  • Appearance: Off whiteto white powder.
  • Melting Point:104 - 110⁰C min.
  • Ash Content: 17 -18% max.
# Non-bloomimg, nonstaining ultra fast accelerator. # ZDBC is faster than ZDEC in latex compounding & vice-versa in dry rubber comounding. # ZDBC shows scorching tendency, faster cure rate, higher cross link density in combination with thiazoles. # Very good ageing resistance in presence of antioxidants.
  1. Bloom free products like EPDM Profiles, etc.
  2. Latex based products: Surgical gloves, Latex Threads, for transparent goods & heat resistant products, Ballons etc.
  3. Dry Rubber Compounding : transparent molded prodcuts, brigth white / bright colored rubberproducts,footwear.

Pentocure – ETU

Ethylene Thiourea
  • Appearance: White toPale crystalline powder.
  • Melting Point:194 - 204⁰C min.
  • Ash Content: 0.3% max.
# ETU imparts a high state of cure to neoprene compounds. # ETU with dosage 0.4 - 0.75 phr in Neoprene exhibits optimum heat/compression set resistance. # ETU works best for silica reinforced neoprene rubber. # It is an activator and secondary accelerator for lowsulfur vulcanization of other diene rubber.

Pentocure – DPTU

N,N-Diphenylthiourea
  • Appearance: Off White to white powder.
  • Melting Point:145 - 150⁰C min.
  • Ash Content: 0.5% max.
#DPTU is a non-discoloring accelerator for CR. # It is used as secondary acclerator for CR, EPDM & other diene rubbers. # DPTU has faster cure times with better scorch resistance than ETU
  1. Polychloroprene & NR latex.
  2. EPDM sponge compounds.
  3. NR & SBR ( EV or SemiEV curing system)

Pentocure – DPG

N,N'-dipheny guanidine
  • Appearance: Off White to white powder.
  • Melting Point: 143 - 149⁰C min.
  • Ash Content: 0.5% max.
# DPG is a secondary vulcanization accelerator, frequently used as activator. # DPG is used in combination with sulfenamides for silica filled compounds. # Vulcaniate with gaunidines discolor on light exposure. # It provides a very long scorch time & slow full cure.
